JV Mustangs in the Community
Saturday December 5, 2009 the Junior Varsity Lady Mustangs volunteered at John Deere Turf Care in Fuquay-Varina, NC at the annual Holiday Party for the families of Turf Care. The ladies assisted in various arts and crafts activities helping the children in the creation of their ornaments, picture frames and cookies. Several of the ladies taught putting on the green, corn hole toss and assisted with the cake walk. This event for the Lady Mustangs was to encourage volunteering within the community and teach character. The John Deere staff was very appreciative of the Mustangs assistance and has requested for us to come back again next year. Thank you to the parents that gave their time to provide transportation to and from Turf Care and to the Lady Mustangs for their service.
